The Demand Diagnostic

Find out which gear is quietly costing you the year.

Seven questions, one for each gear. About three minutes. No charge, and nothing to prepare. You get a score across all seven gears of patient demand and a plain read on every one that is slipping.

Patient demand is not one thing that is working or not working. It is seven, and in most practices six of them are fine while one is quietly costing the year. The trouble is that from inside the practice it is genuinely hard to tell which. Owners tend to assume the problem is at the top, that not enough people know about them. More often the top is fine and the loss is happening three gears downstream, where nobody is looking.

The questions below are not a rating scale. Each one asks what actually happens in your practice, and every possible answer describes a real state of affairs. That is deliberate. Asking an owner to score their own marketing out of five produces a flattering number and a useless diagnosis.

What it covers

  • Your brand and positioning
  • How patients find you
  • Your website and their experience
  • Your reputation and reviews
  • Patient inquiry to consult
  • Patient consult to procedure
  • Patient retention

What you get, and what you do not

You get a score on each gear, every one that is slipping flagged, and a straight explanation of what a weak score on each of those actually costs a practice. That is enough to know where to look and, often, enough to act on.

What it will not do is tell you what the fix costs or in what order to do it. Seven questions cannot carry that, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling something. These seven questions tell you the engine is misfiring and which cylinder. The full Demand Diagnostic tells you why, what it costs, and in what sequence.
